Mechanical design of a fully analogue mixer built from interchangeable, fully removable channel modules, so each chassis can be specified for its owner.

My role

I did the mechanical design of the chassis, panels and module system; the circuit design was Steve Ireland's.

Outcome

TPI has announced Type. 29 in 2, 4, 6 and 8-channel chassis with Phono/Line and Class A Mic/Line modules. It is installed at Tomodachi, Ibiza; wider release is still to come.
