Two ranges of cinema loudspeakers for TPI. The cinema range covers screen, surround, subwoofer and bass-management models for cinemas, screening rooms and studios. Movement is for direct-view LED screens: the Movement L, M and S sit in arrays above and below the screen, and TPI's signal processing blends them so the sound appears to come from the picture.

My role

I did all the design and engineering for both ranges, through to the production drawings; the acoustic engineering was Ian Knight's.

  • All design and engineering for every model in the cinema range — screen, surround, subwoofer and bass-management speakers — and the Movement range
  • The enclosure for the Movement controller
  • Manufacturing and production drawings and files
  • All the line drawings for the cinema and Movement ranges, as used in TPI's specifications and brochure

Outcome

Released. Both ranges are listed on TPI's website.
