Professional · TPI Aerospace Limited · re-engineered for in-house manufacture
Type. MFR

TPI's horn-loaded loudspeaker, with a tall slatted enclosure. It was an established design when I joined TPI: its cabinets were made by a third party, and TPI assembled the components. As part of bringing cabinet manufacture in-house, I re-engineered it to suit TPI's workshop, and designed an additional riser section in natural ply.
My role
I re-engineered it for TPI's own workshop: my design changes solved recurring assembly issues, significantly improved quality consistency and reduced build cost and time.
- Re-engineering matched to the workshop's capabilities, as part of bringing cabinet manufacture in-house
- An additional riser section, designed in natural ply
Outcome
A system with the natural-ply riser section is finished and currently at TPI's factory. TPI's MFR installations include Beam Cube, Bangkok; RASA Space, Singapore; and Cometogether, Provence.
